We are currently looking for a highly motivated and flexible person to join our team and support the smooth operation of our executive jet terminal. You will be dealing with VIP’s and business executives on a regular basis.

The successful candidate will need to be committed to the delivery of customer service excellence and their main responsibilities will include: -

• Accepting responsibility for the day-to-day customer facing performance of the operation and meeting the demands of our prestigious customers

• Promoting the extensive Samson product portfolio, thereby increasing operational and commercial income.

• Collating and calculating handling, parking and hangarage payments in order to generate accurate invoicing.

You will need to be organized, a confident / articulate communicator and capable of operating under your own initiative. You will also be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office packages and have the ability to work quickly and accurately.

Shop Floor Manager

Traveller (NCL) Ltd own and operate a number of fashion based retail outlets at Newcastle International Airport. We are currently looking to appoint a Shop Floor Manager to oversee and take responsibility of the day to day running of approximately 14 staff and 200 square meters of shop floor.


The position would be suitable for someone with a proven track record of retail management within a recognized high street organization. They will need a good understanding of ACAS guidelines to operate human resources effectively. Reporting to the Directors, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing and motivating sales staff using existing, and introducing new management systems. Other attributes are an understanding of the importance of sophisticated retail standards including cleanliness and presentation.


This position is predominantly shop floor based with the emphasis on managing staff and driving sales- to be successful the candidate will need to be very organized and highly driven to fulfill this demanding and sort after role. Initial pay scale will be in line with industry standards, but with potential for higher earnings based on performance.


Other points for the applicants consideration include:
Airport retail opening hours are extenuous requiring shift work including very early morning or late evening hours. Working within the Airport environment requires employees to pass criminal record checks and be able to supply a professional / educational history stretching back 5 years.
